Report Card Incomplete Grades

Parents Will Be Notified
When Grades Are Complete

The State Department of Education notified the district just before the end of school that results from this spring’s TNReady testing would be delayed. As a result, grades were not able to be calculated before students picked-up report cards. Therefore, the subject areas affected by the TNReady tests were temporarily recorded as Incomplete on student report cards. This impacted students in grades 3-8 language arts, math, and science, as well as high school students enrolled in courses which include End of Course exams. We anticipated the scores prior to the end of May, but the state's testing vendor encountered a technical issue with scanning the answer sheets. As soon as grades have been updated in PowerSchool, we will notify parents via a School Messenger phone call so they can view the final course grade in PowerSchool or contact the school to arrange a time to pick-up a revised report card.
