LIBRARY MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of our Anderson Library Media Program is to stimulate interest in reading and appreciation of literature, as well as to ensure that students are efficient users of information and ideas, enabling them to become literate, life-long learners. 

 

LIBRARY MANNERS

 

1.  I will be respectful. 

         This includes:

    • being kind to others
    • listening while others speak
    • raising hand to be recognized
    • listening to and following directions

2.  I will be responsible.

         This includes:

    • returning books on time
    • returning books in good condition
    • putting books and supplies where they belong
    • keeping the Library neat

3.  I will be safe.

            This includes:

    • keeping hands and feet to self
    • walking in the Library
    • using quiet voices
